☆ Aged between 40 & 70+?
☆ Want to get fitter and increase social connection whilst having fun?
☆ Ever thought about being part of a team in a sporting environment?

Then, it’s time to unlock your inner dragon. Come along and give it a try on Sunday 2 February at Deakin Reserve, Oak Flats (details below).

Dragon boating is Australia’s fastest growing paddle-driven water sport, and it’s all about fun and fitness.

When: Sunday 2 February
Time: arrive 8.30am (allow 2 hours, including a free morning tea)
Where: Deakin Reserve, Cnr The Boulevard and Reserve Rd., Oak Flats
What to bring:
▪︎ wear sports clothing (jeans and heavy clothing is NOT allowed)
▪︎ wear closed-in shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. Water shoes or crocs are ideal, but an old pair of sneakers will do)
▪︎ wear a cap and apply sunscreen (expect to be on the water for approx one hour)
▪︎ have a towel, and clothing to change into, in your car (you WILL get wet!)

☆ all equipment provided (including PFDs if required)
☆ instruction provided by our accredited dragon boat coaches
☆ if you want to extend the experience before committing to membership, ask about DRAGONPASS that gets you temporary membership for 1 month FREE, including insurance coverage for all training and racing.
