You would believe that it would be easy to find a home to launch four beautiful dragon boats.

Yet this would be the start of many frustrating and disheartening attempts to secure a home base.

The Sudu Spirit stayed persistent and focused on bringing this growing sport into the community and celebrating life, through sport and camaraderie.

Our home, PCYC on Reddall Parade, Lake Illawarra, situated on the splendor of Bevan’s Island, along the channel where the ocean meets the lake.
